Strategic
Leisure has been engaged by some of the biggest and best entertainment
companies in the world. Strategic Leisure has completed four engagements
with The Walt Disney Company; consulted to Sony for two years on
its urban entertainment ventures; and, in another two year relationship,
Strategic Leisure created, developed, opened and then studied, Red's
Rec Room, an entertainment & recreation destination for
Brunswick.
Strategic
Leisure has also assisted conventional real estate owner and developer
clients with entertainment opportunities. Strategic Leisure worked
with portfolio and asset manager Aldrich Eastman Waltch (AEW) and
the John Buck Company on the SearsTower; Glimcher Realty Trust on
the strategic positioning and design of the Great Mall of the Great
Plains; The Gordon Company on the concept for the Forum Shops Phase
III at Caesar's Palace, in Las Vegas; and, developed a plan for
Transamerica for a proposed downtown Los Angeles studio location
for DreamWorks SKG.
Strategic Leisure has at times been asked to define issues and opportunities
that even surprise even us; such as being asked by the Chicago Board
of Trade to evaluate handheld trading.
Strategic
Leisure has also helped small to mid-sized companies with the definition
of new entertainment destination products. Arc IceSports engaged
Strategic Leisure to define an ice based family entertainment center
and Strategic Leisure strategized, named and conceptualized WonderCamp,
a higher-end children's entertainment center business developed
in New York and New Jersey.
