Strategizing

The best-laid
plan is worthless unless it is the right laid plan - strategically
right. The balanced integration of Assessing,
Synthesizing, Analyzing,
and Rationalizing of
how a potential project works to assure that a successful strategy
is being pursued. The key to defining a successful strategy (or
to learning early that a strategy does not work, which has its own
critical value), is developing the creative, business and practical
ideas to the same level and at nearly the same time. This what Strategic
Leisure calls Stratgic Design.
If a thorough
Assessing of the opportunity is not first completed; or, if the
creative Synthesizing darts ahead of the financial parameters or
practical considerations; or, if Analyzing leads to creative impasse;
or, if the design and economic model look great but the product
is improbable to build and perhaps impossible to manage - then such
a so called strategy is actually a very costly prescription for
a managerial narcotic. The more of it that is ingested, the more
addicted management becomes to what is actually a hallucination.
Strategic Leisure's
approach is to bit by bit, build a
Conceptual Development Strategy,
an integrated, rational vision which is in equilibrium in all of
its key parameters.

Like a modern computer operating system,
Strategic Leisure's experiential bandwidth
allows it to process multithreaded matters,
addressing creative, business, and practical
ideas all in the same
Strategic Design.
