Planning

With all four
steps of Strategizing the Conceptual
Development Strategy fundamentally complete and approved,
what is desired is for the project to be developed and operating.
Planning is
the significant segue between the Strategizing
and the Developing and Operating,
usually not taken until the project is approved, as the cost of
adding this next layer of detail to the strategy tends to escalate
substantially. The major Planning activities that are antecedents
to Developing are Designing,
Operational Planning,
Project Management Planning,
Development Planning,
and, very importantly, Marketing
Planning.
