and even competent development, do not a success make. The project
must be marketed and sold. While marketing encompasses Public Relations,
Advertising and Marketing Collateral, it also encompasses far more.
While the guest experience is the epicenter of the consumer strategy,
the Marketing Plan is the fulcrum of the business strategy.
The type of
projects Strategic Leisure defines and implements are models of
win/win/win models. There is often more than one market category
for a project.
For each market,
a marketing plan needs to be developed, clearly identifying and
sizing the market segment, identifying likely early adopters and
prime movers in each market, and establishing how best to position
and market to them.
