Development Planning

Depending upon a project's situation, sometimes a significant amount of Development Planning occurs prior to much, or even any, of the other planning. Many times it is either prudent or requisite to complete the following steps:

alliances, be they financial, content, site, operating, strategic alliance, or sponsorship, or all of them, are many times necessary or, at least, appropriate to secure prior to proceeding.

Financing, be it equity, debt, public sector or any combination thereof, is necessary unless the project is being funded out of the client's direct assets.

Site Possession, if not already owned or somehow legally controlled, is required unless the site is under sufficient control.

Approvals are sought and obtained. Some of these approvals are "conditions/precendents", and sought immediately after the Strategizing is complete, in order to alleviate risk.
