Strategic Leisure's roots are founded in the career of its President, Michael McCall; whose broad, unique and notable professional experiences, prior to the company's birth in 1992, form a chord of rich tone and timbre.

From his early years as a young entrepreneur learning and strategizing complex developments, to his decade-long career working for acclaimed developer James W. Rouse, to leading the Rouse side of the Disney/Rouse urban entertainment joint venture, to international consulting, to defining urban resorts and providing a grand cultural institution with a fresh strategic vision - Michael McCall led an extraordinary career well before embarking on Strategic Leisure.

The common melody running throughout these experiences was the orchestration of analytical & creative harmony for the purpose of profitable placemaking.
